Measuring unit for twisted cable  type mtr40 y mtr50

Utilization:- The mtr 40 measuring meter can be used for round and twisted cable from 3 to 40mm ø and a maximum 300 mm pitch from the braided cable twist, the mtr 50 measuring meter from 3 to 50 mm ø and maximum pitch of 500 mm.

Construction:- Steel housing; two lower fixed wheels- one serves as a measuring wheel- with different intermediate rollers and two upper moving wheels with various intermediate rollers to press the cable, joined together by a special belt.

Guides :- The mtr 40 measuring meter has a horizontal roller and two vertical graduate dones at the inlet and outlet of the measuring appliance. The mtr 50 measuring meter has a fixed horizontal roller at the inlet, another adjustable upper one, two vertical fixed ones and further two adjustable ones. At the measuring meter outlet there is a horizontal roller and two vertical horizontal ones. These roller systems ensure the cables are centred.

Pressure system:- The upper body of the moveable wheels is raised by a lever with this entire body pressing on the cable by means of springs.

Counter:- Counting mechanism with continuous indication of the meter and centimeters in 7mm. White numerals, on black background. Measuring capacity for 9,999. 99 meters, subdivided into cm by means of white figures. Lever for resetting to zero.

Operation:- The cable to be measured is threaded through the guide rollers and taken to the mark for beginning and end of measurement. To achieve this, the pressure roller is lifted and remains in its final position, which makes it possible to comfortably adjust all sets of rollers. After zero-setting of the counter and releasing the lever, measuring can begin, and after the desired quantity is obtained, the cable is cut on the mark for beginning and end of measurements.
